Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In June 2003 Matthew’s son Nathan James Lawton was taken to St James Hospital in Leeds. He was in the Paediatric
High Dependency ward for 6 days. After the first day there, Matthew was offered a room in Eckersley house. This helped
them both in their last few days together, by allowing them to stay so close.
In 2015 Molly's Granddaughter Darcey Fletcher was taken to Sheffield hospital with a brain tumour. Chrissy (Darcey's
Mum) was offered a room in Treetop hose. During her recovery this helped Darcey and her family in the same way.

About the charity

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. By providing families with somewhere to stay near their child they have one less thing to worry about.
