Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2014  . After 6 weeks in hospital and 3 years later I am still here thanks in no small part to the staff at James Cook  University Hospital and the love and support of my family. While in hospital I saw the wonderful work that Macmillan do with cancer patients and their families and so I decided I would try and raise some money to support their fantastic work . I picked the GNS because I completed every Swim since the event started and I wanted to get back in the water  to prove to myself that I could do it again ! Wish me luck as I lay inthat hospital bed I never thought I would have the chance to experience the beauty of the lakes swim again . Can't wait ! Please help by donating any amount no matter how small it will be worth it to see my freezing my .... off !
