I could not have been luckier to have the mother I did.

Last year, my mother sadly passed away from Mesothelioma, a rare form of Lung cancer. The swiftness of the illness meant from diagnosis in October 2013 she passed away in January 2014. Despite the swift onset of the disease, even during her last months her enduring priority was for the care of the family, as it had been the entire of her life. While she did so much for the family and as a General Practictioner, for her patients, she never asked for much in return

Since her passing I have tried to think of ways to raise money in dedication of my mother and help serve the fantastic charities that helped care for her.

I have chosen to raise money for Mesothelioma UK and my darling girlfriend will be raising money for Marie Curie, two charities who were central to the care of my mother.
