Story
I have set myself a personal challenge to complete 300km of activity during September. Averaging 10km a day, in any way... running, walking, cycling, swimming, crawling if I have to :-)
Since being diagnosed with a brain tumour is February 2017 I've gone through surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy in Sheffield hospitals.
It's been a bumpy road to recovery, a road I'm still on, a road on which I've recently taken a step backwards. But I can continue to beat this thing with the help of Sheffield neuroscience and the support of my family and friends.
Your fundraising means so much to Neurocare, NHS staff and the patients whose lives have been improved and saved by the kindness and generosity of people like you. Every penny you raise helps Neurocare fund life-saving equipment, research, patient and family support services, hospital transformations and medical training, all of which enhance the care and treatment of neuroscience patients being treated in Sheffield's NHS hospitals. Thank you for all so much for your support!
