Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Why run a marathon when you can walk one. It may take longer but I'll get to take in the scenery and have a lunch break on route. I've given to charity in Stephen's name before but never actively taken part in an event to raise money. I love walking so this is a great way to do it.
Stephen, my brother, died in 2013, aged 52, of malignant melanoma, which he fought to the end, raising a lot of money for research into this disease. Several members of my family and also friends or colleagues have been affected by cancer and whilst I am walking for a specific charity, Melanoma Focus, I feel that any research could be beneficial to all of us in the long term.
Enjoy the summer and please remember to apply factor 50 suncream to protect yourself
Keep on keeping on but keep cool, keep safe, keep it real.
Thank you for your donation.
