....I still remember the consultant pushing a box of tissues across his desk towards me.  He had told me the news, but it hadn’t registered, I was numb. A few seconds later the words sunk in and the stark realisation hit. At that point my life was never going to be the same again.

There have been ups and downs during the last two years coming to terms with my Parkinson’s diagnosis. During this journey Parkinson’s UK has been an invaluable resource providing a wealth of information for me. Their mission is to change attitudes, support those diagnosed with the disease and fund research to help find a cure for this cruel degenerative brain disease.  Please give what you can afford.
