Story
Effortlessly chic. Unfailingly generous. Eloquent without airs. Hilariously witty. Irrefutably practical. Assuredly positive. A talented linguist. A prolific reader. Brought to life by music. Her mottos were Einstein’s “insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”, and “I’m not being a Pollyanna, but…!” And, above all, she worried more about everyone else than herself. That was Mum. She’s left behind a husband, two children, two baby grandchildren, two older sisters, several cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and countless close friends.
🙏🏻 THANK YOU for visiting our JustGiving page for my mum, Tricia Bodenham (born Patricia Sanders), whom we lost this August to secondary breast cancer.
🧑🏻🎄🧑🏻🎄🧑🏻🎄👧🏼 My friends & I are raising money for St Richard’s Hospice to continue to offer incredible care to patients in the hospice, and, the community.
🚑 Mum chose St Richard’s Hospice herself. St Richard’s not only provided my mum with the best care she could have gotten - both during her stay in hospice, and her last few months at home - but, they’re also offering wonderful ongoing support to us, the family. She would want us to ensure they can keep doing the specialist work they do.
