This 70k run is part of a fun day that we are organising in the parish to raise funds for Bolton Hospice as it is a very special place and many of our parishioners and members of our wider community benefit so greatly from their care. My run starts near Moss Bank Park at 5.00 going to Winter Hill, then over to Holcombe Tower then Darwen Tower, Great Hill, Rivington Pike and finishes at St Thomas of Canterbury Church. I am estimating around ten and a half hours approximately depending on conditions on the day.
