Story

OUR MISSION is to increase global awareness of encephalitis, saving lives and building better futures.

My twin brother was struck down with this illness Christmas Day 2017,he  started with what the family thought was flu then soon changed to Encephalitis. My brother started acting strange not talking properly, not responding and generally not being himself,he  started fitting and stop breathing and if it wasn't for the fast action of his wife Sam and children Karly and Ryan he would've died.He has had a lot of on going problems along the way, such as a chest infection, kidney infection, clot on his lung,a bleed in his brain, along with the problems that are incurred with the illness itself, such as the swelling around the brain, paralyzes down one side, virtually no speech, memory loss, sky high temperature,to mention a few. But he's getting through this, slowly but surely as a family we will get him through this. We all have a long way to go together as a unit and that is so important to stand to together through the ups and downs. I will endeavor to keep you all updated with my brothers progress. Please make a donation however small it may be,it will all build up and help to fund more research and help many other suffers
