Bringing in the new year, 2018, was not quite the start of the year that I had hoped for, with the sad loss of my beloved nan (Nannie bet) and my beautiful sister in law Jo. How is it fair that 2 lives can be taken so suddenly from us.

In their honour and memory I will be climbing Ben Nevis in april, in an effort to raise as much money as possible for the incredible work the Intensive care Unit at The Liverpool Royal Hospital do on a daily basis and although I never thought we would require their services, they gave the most outstanding, compassionate and innovative care to our Jo, the care she received was second to none and they did us all proud untill we had to say our goodbyes.
