Story

Ok so on a whim I accepted the challenge to do a BE80 next year. What have I let my self in for (help!)

Issues are :

I learnt to ride aged 32 (I'm 45 now) so no great skill or grace in the saddle.  Really don't like jumping much but thanks to the encouragement of the Carmarthenshire Hunt I have begun to tackle the odd jump.  Never done show jumping and really don't school my horse, so dressage could be interesting, but hey willing to give it a go to raise money for this worthy cause.

I will be riding Minty (Gafros Minstral) my lovely 10yr old coloured cob, full bone and feather, a real traditional gypsy cob.  I have had him since he was 6 months old and we will be learning this together, as much a journey for him as for me.

We can put on a good front of being brave out hunting and have even done a couple of hunter trials but this BE80 is a whole different ball game.  So please encourage me not to give up by helping me raise loads of money for charity.  All money raised will go to the charity, I will be paying personally for my training, entry fees and equipment.  So please be assured 100% of all I raise is going to the Willberry charity.

About the charity

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.
