From WednesdayJanuary 8^th 2014 Samantha Kaye and boyfriend Liam Jackson went through a sequence of events that turned their lives up-side-down.

30 weeks pregnant, exciting times were ahead for the couple and it wouldn’t have been long until Sam was taking maternity leave to get ready for the arrival of their first baby. 

It started as a regular Wednesday; Sam arrived to work and started her day here at J.Rotherham. Unfortunately, it didn’t continue to be regular and Sam suddenly started to experience severe pains in her lower abdomen and back.

Rushed to hospital at once, Sam was given traumatic news that no parents would ever want to hear; they had lost their little boy and he was to be delivered by an emergency C-section as a still born. Unlike the other parent’s delivering their babies that next day, Sam and Liam didn’t get to take their new little one home. Instead Sam remained at the hospital with their sleeping boy, Kobi Ty Jackson to say their goodbyes.

Today 17 families will suffer the trauma of a still birth or neonatal death. 4Louis aim to offer support and help to families like Sam and Liam to capture those lasting precious memories of their baby. They do this by providing hospitals across the U.K with memory boxes, cuddle cots and photography equipment,so parents can capture as many memories as they can.

 £30 a month will supply a family with a memory box. These Include:

• A clay impression kit, to capture an impression of babies hands and feet.
• Two teddies, one for baby and one for the family.
• A glass angel in a presentation box
• A candle, for a special occasion where the family may want to light it.
• A card, so the family can write a poem or letter to baby.
• A curl box, fora lock of babies hair,
• An inkless wipe kit, to capture imprints of babies hands and feet.
• A CD to keep babies photographs safe
• A copy of 'Guess How Much I Love You book 
• A SD Card
• Forget me not seeds to plant
• A balloon and postcard to heaven
• An acknowledgement of life certificate

These specialised pieces of equipment are designed to keep babies cool to allow parents to spend up to 72 hours with their child.They are designed to fit in to a Moses basket to keep the environment homely at such a traumatic time.

On Saturday 3rd June are challenging ourselves to an epic 26mile walk — starting early doors from Wren Kitchens’ head office in Barton upon Humber to our factory here in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor.

Without the help of 4Louis, Sam and Liam would have suffered their grief without the help, comfort and guidance that they so desperately needed after that day.
