A BE80 is a One Day Event involving a dressage, show jumping and cross country phase. This is something Hall and me have working towards all winter, we aren't quite there yet but hopefully this is something we can achieve by September. 

Hall is an 12 year old retired point to pointer, he ran 44 times, winning 8 and finishing 2nd or 3rd over 20 times. Hall is a very special horse, I have known him since he was a 6 year old and I rode him most days for 2 seasons. I am very lucky that when he retired I was allowed to give him a home. He seems to be adjusting well to retired life, loves hacking on the common and has taken well to jumping so far.

Horses have always been a big part of my life and have helped me through some tough times. As I am sure many of you will know the story of Hannah Francis is one which is very close to home for me. I am one of the lucky ones who is still here to tell the tale so this seemed like a very good opportunity to support a great cause. If you don't know Hannah's story you can read it here

I have never done any eventing so it's going to be an achievement for us both if we can succeed.
