Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page for the “Cycling 140 miles for Rosemere Cycling challenge 2019”  and for all your amazing help and support...

On 30th June 2019 I will be cycling 140 miles around 8 football stadiums in Lancashire to raise money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Rosemere Cancer Foundation are based at Preston Royal but provide world class cancer treatment and support to people throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria. A charity close to my heart who have helped my family and some of my friends and their families through some extremely difficult times over the last 6 years.

My dad was diagnosed with a rare condition called Amyloidosis in 2015, there is no cure however chemotherapy would help treat the disease and keep it a bay until it reoccurred... Rosemere were there for Dad throughout his journey providing world class care and treatment until he lost his battle in Oct 2018...

Just wanted to show our appreciation and say a massive thank you for everything they did for us all and continue to do for over 9000 local people every year. They gave us chance to make some special memories and I know they help others to do so too...
