Hello all, for those that know me will know that 3 1/2 years ago I was given some life changing news. I was diagnosed with CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia)

In that time a lot has happened. I had down days, up days and normal days and I was very lucky and fortunate to have a lot of friends and family around me (I include my work colleagues with the Met as my friends and family). Those people all supported me, listened to me when I was upset, leant a shoulder when I needed a cry, took the piss and just were generally there for me.

However I wouldn't be where I am had it not been for the amazing work of the staff at Hammersmith Hospital to me they are Angels disguised as Doctors, Nurses and staff members.

So this walk is to raise money for a charity linked to Hammersmith Hospital which will make patient treatment a little easier. Part of the money namely the proceeds of the BBQ I'll be having and the profit from the t-shirts will go to Macmillan who again do some amazing work for cancer sufferers and their families.
