Earlier this year, my best friend Lewis Ball was tragically taken from us following a night out in Bristol. Lewis was reported missing and eventually found three weeks later. These three weeks were an extremely traumatic time for friends and family and the mystery surrounding Lewis' disappearance was especially difficult to come to terms with.

Laurence and I have decided to do a Skydive in memory of Lewis and raise money for Missing People Charity. The charity listen in confidence, and support missing people and their families to explore their options and, where possible, to reconnect. For those left behind they provide specialised support to ease the heartache and confusion, and help search for their missing loved ones.

I always imagined Lewis would be part of my journey. When I look back at the best years of my life and my youth, the face I’m going to see will be Lewis’, the memories I’m going to recall will be with Lewis and the laugh I’m going to hear will be Lewis’. We lost Lewis under the cruellest of circumstances but within us he leaves a legacy that we will carry with us. Lewis has passed on and taken with him a piece of my heart and of everyone who ever loved him.
