Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital - which has now closed.

** We raised £500 - thank you! **

Recently I had the honour of being asked to join “Team 10” - a group of 10 runners taking part in the Great Manchester Run 10k on Sunday 19th May - all of whom have fundraising links to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital over the last 10 years, since it moved to its present site.

Given how well the hospital staff have looked after my son Jacob throughout his ongoing cancer treatment,  I simply couldn’t turn down this opportunity. I’m also pleased to say that we smashed our £250 target,  raising £500 in total!! I really can’t thank everyone enough for their incredible generosity. 

Race day was an awesome experience - with lots of smiles and cheers out on the course. I’m delighted with my time of 41.01, just a second outside my target.
