Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was lucky enough to be drawn out of the hat for a London Marathon place at my local running club. The qualifying criteria is that I raise money for the clubs chosen charity which this year is Brain Tumour Research. Now I do run a bit and doing London for charity just doesn’t ring the challenge bell enough for me to feel I could ask people pledge their money so I put some thought into it and came up with this.
I will aim to run 186 miles during the month of April, which is the equivalent to 10km every day for 30 days. Alongside this I will be continuing my cycling and swimming training in preparation for my upcoming Ironman race in July. So please dig deep and pledge a coupe of quid for a very deserving charity and I will do what I do best and hit the road running for them.
To put this into perspective the furthest I have ever ran in a month is 152 miles. This was two years ago whilst training for ultra marathons. Although I won’t actually run 10km every day I do plan to run for 30 days without a day off and will include a 50 mike ultra and the London Marathon in the mix
