Story

Nathan is an RAF cadet and wanted to help raise vital funds for RAFA's emergency projects and discovered the RAFA Rides Challenge. Gaining the support and encouragement of his friends Alex and Owen, they all decided to rise to the challenge of cycling 70 miles in one day.

Together they plan to complete the route cycling from Weare Gifford to Plymouth Hoe, collectively cycling 210 miles.

There are many aspects of service life that are difficult. The RAF Association provide support for veterans, service personnel and their families during challenging times.

RAFA like many other charities has been affected by the Covid 19 pandemic, resulting in a dramatic loss of income. This comes at a time when the crisis is threatening the most vulnerable in the community resulting  in increased demands for the support services RAFA provide.

Any support you are able to offer would be gratefully received. If you would like to donate, please visit their Just Giving page. Every penny counts and can make a huge difference to someone in need.

Many Thanks
