Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving
page!

It's #InternationalDayOfCharity (05/09/2018) !

So thought it would be a fantastic day to kick off my fundraising campaign.

Any amount you can donate will be much appreciated, you can donate from as little as £2.

I am taking part in a 5K sponsored walk through
Regent's Park on Sunday 23rd September in aid of raising money for '
Rethink Mental Illness', a charity which focuses on supporting
those who are severely affected by mental illnesses
by
challenging attitudes and changing lives.

-  1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week in England * and the rate in young people committing suicide has risen in England and Wales to a shocking  67% since 2010**  it’s so important now more so than ever, that charities such as Rethink are supported, so that they can continue their life saving and crucial work .

A bit about me :

I am passionate about bringing awareness to social issues such as mental health awareness as I believe that mental health is at the crux of wellbeing. It is also a fundamental vital area to everyone’s personal growth.

- I am a  Youth and Adult Mental Health
First Aider. .

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for taking the time to read and support in whatever way that you can.
