We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Those of you who know me will know that I work as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, so when we were talking over lunch at work one day about a challenge for 2017, cycling The Prudential Ride London was mentioned as a suggestion.

https://www.prudentialridelondon.co.uk/events/46/

I have taken part in a John O' Groats to Lands End Cycle ride many years ago and my son Henry Latimer is a very keen road cyclist, so the idea of doing a cycling challenge was appealing as a motivation to get me back on my bike again!

I have not ridden a bike for a few years but I try to keep fit by walking so I do need to start some serious training! I will put up an update as training progresses but please do visit my page and make a donation to help me reach my target of £500 and keep me focused on this challenge.

I am cycling with two of my colleagues from work Perdy van den Berg and Jane Maskell raising funds for Diabetes UK. Your donation will enable them to continue providing the support for people living with diabetes, their families as well as healthcare professionals. Thank you for your support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
