We are holding a Christmas Toy Appeal Party on the 17th Nov 2018. I know there will be some people who can't donate toys for what ever reason so we have set up this page if anyone would prefer to make a cash donation. So many children have to spend Christmas in hospital and it can't be easy for them or their families. So Poppy wanted to make her favourite time of year better for everyone. 

For those who don't know Poppys reasons behind becoming a fundraiser, here is her story. Since Poppy was a baby she has always struggled with her bowels, after years of appointments and tests etc we finally had a diagnosis. She has had a few hospital stays and now we are looking at surgical procedures to help her conditions which cause her pain and discomfort on a regular basis. Alder Hey Children's Hospital and Charity have been brilliant as has her paediatrition at the Countess of Chester, and Poppy wanted to give something back. She completed a walk from Ellesmere Port to Chester Zoo and raised over 2,000 pound for Alder Hey, and After being told her appointment with surgical team will be in Oct poppy got worried that she would be in hospital over Christmas and would Santa know where she was. I explained that there would be alot of very poorly children in hospital over Xmas, to which she replied, let's buy them all presents incase Santaclaus forgot them too! Even though i told her Santa knows where every child is but she still was worried for the children. So we thought a Toy Appeal would be the perfect answer to her worries. She has since been asked to be an Ambassador for Alder Hey and has also took part in Matalan campaign for their Pjs and Christmas Catalogue. We want to thank everyone who has helped, donated and supported us, we really appreciate it.
