In September 2016, Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance saved the life of our colleague and friend, Richard Harding, by flying him to St. George's Hospital for life-saving surgery. Richard is back at work now but without the Air Ambulance things could have been very different. 

Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance is constantly needs to raise funds to support its vital work and we'd like to help them by raising money for a fundraising mission which costs just over £2,500 and money raised for a mission can be used for any items that are required to support a mission - medical supplies, fuel etc... 

So throughout 2017, Giles Stapley, from RATP Dev London, as well as other colleagues from some events, is taking part in a number of grueling challenges to help raise money to support this £2,500 target. Current events include:

• A half marathon in March - done in 1:51:12.  It was my first ever half marathon, a little disappointing as wanted a 1:46. I came 799 out of 3,330.
  
• Tough Mudder on April 29th 2017 - A team of 9 from RATP Tolworth Garage completed the course and all obstacles. Great day out.  
• 5 mile cross country event in Claygate on 9th July 2017
• And a Tough Mudder Team event on September 24th 2017
