My daughter Nellie was born with a rare condition called Symbrachdactly, the fingers on her Left hand never grew in the womb. We went to see specialists at Leeds who could not offer us the surgery we wanted for her, they referred us to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. It was not guaranteed they could or would help us, but they came up trumps and Nellie is being admitted on the 29th January 2018 for what we hope will be life changing surgery. I’d like to give back to the hospital for helping us.

#Update. Nellie has had surgery, it took 6 hours and she bounced back the day after. She had bones taken from both feet to go in her left hand, and bone from her hip to replace the bones taken from her feet. Without a doubt the care she received was fantastic, what a hospital, the staff are all kind, considerate and so good at what they do. All of that definitely aided in Nellie's speedy recovery.
#Update 14th March. Nellie has had the wires removed from both feet and her hand, she was bandaged up for 6 weeks but can now bath and shower again; and tickle her feet with her nunu(blanket). Again what an amazing hospital every penny raised goes to helping sick or disabled children, thanks.
