RINGWAY GOLF CLUB CAPTAINS CHARITY DAY incorporating
the MACMILLAN 72 HOLE CHALLENGE
Friday 29th June
Some of you may recall that 20 months ago four Ringway members took part in the Macmillan Cancer Support 72 Hole Golf Challenge. Little were we to know that one of our team, John Berry, was to fall victim to that terrible disease. Indeed John was not the only victim in what proved to be a very sad year for our club.
This year we hope that a number of teams at the Club will undertake the Challenge again. Additionally the Club Captain has agreed to run his Charity Day around the event with our intention being to split the funds raised between his chosen charity for the year, Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, and Macmillan.
The event is open to all members with men's, ladies, mixed and junior teams all welcome.
Additionally there will be an informal social at the Club on the evening to further enhance the day.
Please check back for regular updates or watch the club notice boards for further information in the coming weeks.
In the meantime please feel free to contact me for any further information and I’ll gladly help in any way I can.
Best regards
Richard Walker
