More than 10 million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they need shelter, food and water. Donate now.

Story

On 22nd May 2022 Eleanor and Ryan Ewbank will start a 250 mile ultramarathon race. Over the course of the run they will climb the equivalent of Mount Everest, along the rugged Cape Wrath trail on the west coast of Scotland.

We love a challenge, but we are both very daunted by this one! We’ve been training hard for 8 months, juggling children, jobs, dogs and injuries. We have had lots of support from our family along the way and are looking forward to testing our limits together.

We would like to raise some money to help those in Ukraine and if you‘d like to donate please click below.

Thank you.

Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country, causing hundreds of thousands to flee. Homes have been destroyed or are unsafe to live in. Essential services have been hit. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost.DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.£30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month£50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm£100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month
