My 11 year old daughter Cheynia has chosen to have her hair cut short for the first time in her life, she will be cutting off approx 24 inches of hair and donating it to THE LITTLE PRINCESS TRUST to help children who has gone or going through cancer and other illnesses in which they have lost there own hair. She has her own reason why she wants to do this.

At the age of 7 years old Cheynia's dad was diagnosed with Eye cancer and was told he wasn't going to survive, she felt very useless not able to do anything apart from be there and watch him go down hill fast. 13 months later her dad had a life changing operation that left him disfigured and depressed but Cheynia did cope very well for her age.
Her dad Paul had his left eye and socket removed an has now been left having scans every 6 months for the rest of his life because when they got round to doing his operation his eye had split and consultants are not sure how much has leaked out into the rest o his body.

Cheynia has also watched members of the public be rude, cruel and abusive to her dad she gets very upset over this but encourages him to ignore them and be brave as much as it hurts her because they are hurting her dad, but with all this going on Cheynia has had to deal with being bullied herself about her weight and size being called all names at school.

Cheynia is a very brave little girl and we are very proud of the little lady she is becoming, she is friendly, caring, loving, kind and beautiful and we love her dearly for the big heart she has so PLEASE donate and help her get to her target she trying to get to for a good charity.

We are holding our day on the 11th August 2018 at Charfield Congregational Chapel, Wotton Road, Charfield GL12 8SR 10.30am to 1pm where we will have raffle, tombola, cake stall, sweet stall, lucky dip, memory balloons, bouncy castle, face painting, refreshments plus a whole lot more come along have some fun.
