**** Update and request for you support****

Dear friends, we are asking you again to help fund necessary support for people in need in Bedford. 

The SVP has been there to reach out to people across Bedford delivering food to those in need since March 2020. All our local SVP parish groups, known as conferences, have contributed money and manpower to the scheme which so far has helped 133 families and individuals.

Food parcels have been delivered to those in need, quietly, privately but always answering a need.

All monies donated is spent on food and necessary items for our most needy families and individuals.

The St Vincent de Paul (SVP) Conferences in the Bedford area are run by  volunteer members, all of whom give their time to provide help, support and a listening ear to anyone who maybe finding themselves in a time of need. The COVID pandemic has placed a lot of people in difficult situations and our members are working hard to continue to provide the help and support that is very much needed during this time.

We provide people with food parcels; we are there to offer a helping hand and are also keeping in contact with people via telephone and video links  to help to prevent loneliness and isolation. We are again offering safe visits when needed.

The money raised from this JustGiving page will help our members to provide essential support and supplies to people and families.
