Story

I will be running the Great North Run in September wearing an copper willow tree structure. On the tree there will be 200 leaves engraved with the names of angels. I aim to raise £1000 and I have a Team Tommy's running place and separate page of sponsorship.  I want to give people an opportunity to remember their lost children. I also want to raise awareness of Teardrop's work and stillbirth after the loss of my granddaughter Roseanne in June 2016.

I wanted to open this page for Teardrop and bereaved parents specifically so that each teardrop can be engraved with the name of their angel.

Teardrop is a local charity supporting bereaved parents and their families through support groups, a helpline, seasonal activities, and maintaining the bereavement "Willow room" at NSECH in Cramlington.

If you have already donated please email Neil_hancock@rnli.org.uk with your angel's name. If you wish to donate here and leave a message with your baby's name we'd be most grateful, but don't feel obliged to do so - you can still email Neil and their name will be included.
