I have family and friends who have used and are still using this amazing place of support.

The local NHS trust provides around 25% of the running costs, while the remaining 75% comes from the generosity and efforts of the supporters in the local area and beyond.

Obviously they have seen their donations diminish as charity shops & fundraising has been unable to continue.

The Hospice offers so very much more than end of life care, infact they help you come to terms with diagnosis and encourage you whole heartedly to “LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE”.

I feel very strongly about supporting this fantastic place 1 in every 2 of us will be diagnosed with cancer during our lifetime so 1 in every 2 of us will most possibly need the hospice and services they offer us for 

I have watched friends and family have there spirits lifted by attending the hospice  through day care  end of life support. Where children are are Involed they are supported through and dont see the hospice as a scary place to visit family.

I am completing the marathon with my very close friend Nicola who currently has secondary breast cancer .We run london last year in 2019 and supported each other through it was only a few later she recieved the sad news her cancer had returned.  I want to ensure the hospice is there to provide the  vital services required for ANYONE that may need it in the future whether that be cancer or any other life threatening Illness.
