This summer, like never before, we are called to be signs of hope for our world. Your action for hope can mean fewer families have to ask: how do I keep my child safe if we dont have water for hand-washing?

Story

Hello my name is Josna George and I am 16 years old. At the moment, Yemen is going through extremely difficult times.  Yemen has been in conflict for four years, leading to one of the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. It has been stated that nearly 2 in 3 people are in need of urgent help. I wondered for so long, how can I help? With the help of everyone we can raise money together to help Yemen. There are 3,873 miles from UK to Yemen, and so I was going to hold a fundraiser to cycle this distance, with the help of everyone in one month. I have set up a strava club in which anyone who is interested in helping can run, cycle or walk any distance, so we can reach the 3873 mile target. My  Brother and I will be cycling 400 miles each. This challenge will start on Monday 29th June and end on Wednesday 29th July. Here is the link to the strava club:

If you participate please get all your sponsors and any other donations here. Please download strava and sign up for the 'From the UK to Yemen 3873 mile Fundraiser' club, where everyone's hard-work will add up and we can see our total distance each week. I will screenshot and report on each weeks progress. All the money that is raised will go to Cafod's  Summer of Hope campaign. This campaign will provide water, food and sanitation to local families in Yemen.

Let us stand together and help Yemen!
