Funk Traflagar @Trafalgar Square 4/09/09 11 pm
On Friday 4th Sept at 11pm for one hour only Trafalgar Square 4th Plinth transforms into a oneshop stop of fun, funk and foolishness in a historic event.

The Back Story/
Having been lucky enough to be picked for this event. Ive decided to put my time up there to good use.
Essentially I am rubbish at and far too lazy to take part in running and jumping over things type activities, that people usually get themselves sponsered for- however I do know how to have a good time!!!.
I thought if i combined my luck, love of music and ability to raise cash I was on to a winner, so after a couple of minutes the ideas started coming. Unfortunantely due to licencing restrictions my dream to a full live funk band and a load of strippers up on the plinth with me where cruely dashed...(bah humbug!).
So instead I alongside the cats from True Ingredients I will be leading a funky rap/sing/dance-a-long free for all - and give myself and everyone else a good time at a one-off event in the process and raise much needed cash and awareness for http://www.teensunitefightingcancer.org.
If you or anyone you know has been affected by this truely evil diesease you will understand what great support charities like teens unite offer during very difficult times...
All you need to do to take part in this history event is turn up to the square anytime from 10 pm on the 4 th Sept dressed up and get ready to nod enthusiastically whistle your bizzle , strum, hum shake your bum, rap, clap shake your back , bang, twist & shout sing and the get the funk on down to 60 minutes of classic funk and hip hop and a melting pot of dancefloor goodness.
So whilst you are getting ready choosing your songs and planning you outfits, practicing the running man - you can also DONATE!! via here - well just because you love us and you want to help this amazing charity and or in return I will be holding up a large white board where you can display any message you want – tell the world how much you love that special person in your life, how good your company is, wish someone happy birthday – you get the idea – this is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to show how much you care and get some amazing awareness for your brand.
