The Annual Middlesex University Fun Run event is scheduled to take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 21 May 2008 at Trent Park campus. This year the event will again encompass a 'Health Walk' for those interested in participating but who may not be up to running the 5km.
The 5km (3 mile) run is over the traditional course on fields and footpaths in Trent Park. The health walk follows a 3km route through the country park and will be led by a trained walking leader.
The run is not only promoting the health benefits of physical activity, we are once again raising funds for a local charity which this year is TreeHouse– the national charity for autism education based in Muswell Hill. TreeHouse Established in 1997 by a group of parents, TreeHouse runs a school for children and young people with autism and campaigns for better autism education nationally. The charity also undertakes policy and parliamentary work and research to ensure autism is a national priority, supports parents to campaign locally and offers training and consultancy on autism education. You can show your support for the charity by raising sponsorship and / or making a donation. All monies raised will go to TreeHouse.
If you would like more information please contact the Fun Run administrator on 020 8411 4734. You can also download an entry form from the Middlesex University website - www.mdx.ac.uk/lsi/events.asp All participants will receive a Goody bag including a limited edition event T-shirt.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: TreeHouse will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
