About Futsal
‘Futsal’ is short for futebol de salao (indoor football) and it is the key to the skills of practically every great Brazilian player, from Pele to Ronaldinho – not to mention quite a few Portuguese. It’s the international version of 5-a-side. Played with a smaller, heavier ball, Futsal puts the emphasis on skills, passing and movement. The tournament will be run by Futsal officials, and there will be coaches and players on hand to ensure that you get the ideal introduction to the game that teaches you to play football!
T47 Sports Venue
Located at London Bridge station, T47 is a unique venue with three sports pitches that feature official Futsal goals and markings. It includes a licensed bar with a big screen ideal for watching the World Cup. T47 supports Kids Company and has donated the venue for this event.

Kids Company
All of the proceeds from the event will go to support Kids Company.
Kids Company was founded by Camila Batmanghelidjh in 1996. We provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children.
Our services reach 14,000 children across London, including the most deprived and at risk whose parents are unable to care for them due to their own practical and emotional challenges. For many, the roles of adult and child are reversed and, despite profound love, both struggle to survive.We provide a safe, caring, family environment where support is tailored to the needs of each individual. Our services and support empower children who have experienced enormous challenges to lead positive and fulfilling lives. Despite great difficulties, the children we work with are hugely courageous and embrace the support we offer.
Timings for the day
2.00 – 3.00 Arrive at T47 London Bridge
3.00 – 4.45 Watch Brazil vs Portugal on the big screen – the best game of the World Cup first round
5.00 – 7.00 Play Futsal – five-a-side the way the Brazilians play! An all-action tournament with playing tips from Brazilian and Portuguese coaches
