All of the money raised goes directly to the charity and will not be used at all to pay for our journey.

Max and I are planning to drive from Calcutta to London in a Hindustan Ambassador (as pictured).  We will be passing through some of the most remote and underexplored areas on the planet and in a car that was designed exactly 60 years ago. We will be traversing 17 countries, 3 mountain ranges, 2 deserts and 3 seas. We will travel the length and breadth of South Asia, Central Asia and Europe and the whole trip will take us nearly 3 months (hopefully).

It will be a uniquely challenging but fascinating trip and is in aid of Future Hope a charity with whom we have had an affiliation whilst in Calcutta and which we both feel richly deserves any support that you can give. We have seen first hand how Future Hope really make a difference to the lives of the most deprived children on Calcutta's streets. We have personally met many of the children and some of those who have left to pursue good jobs or even university degrees which would have been unthinkable without Future Hope.
