AICR, the Association for International Cancer Research,Thanks to AICR and Jill brown for making this possible!!
works to help save lives that are being lost to cancer
by funding scientific research being carried out by both
promising and prominent scientists. Based in St Andrews,
it is one of the most significant funders of basic cancer
research in Britain and funds some of the best scientific
research in the world. This research aims to improve
prevention, detection and treatment of the disease.
At the moment it is supporting 215 projects in 23 different
countries. Almost all of us have been touched by cancer in
some way and feel helpless when confronted by it;
supporting AICR is a way of taking action and making a
difference.
All the best,
Marc and Blane!
