How to register for the gaming4charity.org Soldat tournament:

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY, IF YOU DON'T YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO COMPETE IN THE TOURNAMENT.

Step 1: Click Donate Now

Step 2: Select the amount you wish to donate.  Remember, entry is £5 (about US$10) minimum but any amount above that you wish to donate is welcome.  We appreciate any donations amounting to less than £5, however this will not allow you entry to the tournament.  Click continue.

Step 3: Log in to the JustGiving site.  If you do not already have an account, complete the registration process and then log in.  Please register with the e-mail address you wish to have information sent to.  When this is done, click Continue.

Step 4: Enter your Credit or Debit card details as well as your billing address (to prevent fraud.)  Then click Continue.

Step 5: If you or the card holder (ask permission, kids) is a UK TAXPAYER then select the option to add Gift Aid to your donation.  This comes at NO EXTRA COST to you but gives extra money to the charity.  If you are not a UK taxpayer, then indicate so and click Continue.

Step 6: Confirm your details, if they are incorrect, modify them and click Continue.

Step 7: Choose the correct option.  The majority of you will come in to the first category if you are donating your own money.  Click continue.

Step 8: Confirm the donation amount is correct.  Click Continue.

Step 9: On the same page, in the box which says name or nickname, please put the nickname you wish to use during the tournament.  You must then stick to this nickname except in extenuating cirucmstances which are discussed in advance with the g4c staff.  It is optional to also enter your real name.  It is advisable to choose a distinctive nickname in order to make it as likely as possible that it wont already be taken.

Step 10: Still on the same page enter your e-mail address in to the 'My Message' box.  This will be the e-mail address which information is sent to.  It is advisable to use the same address as the one you used to register with JustGiving.  Make sure you check this address regularly, as if you do not receive updates you will not be able to get the required information to compete.  Click Continue.

Step 11: You're done!  An e-mail will be dispatched to you before the start date of the tournament with sever information and other details.
