My son Tomos was born with a brain tumour.
He had 2 shunts put in at the age of 3 and 5 weeks old.
He had his major operation to remove his tumour when he was 6 weeks old.
He has been going back to Alderhey childrens hospital for M.R.I scans every 3- 6 months since then to ensure he is still all clear.
Tomos is now 5 years old and is living life to the full and realy enjoying everything that little boys should, he still has his shunts in place but the tumour doesnt appear to be coming back.
During our lenghty time at Alderhay we were lucky to be put up in RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE which is free accomodation to parents of ill children and they were excellent and very supportive.
I am now giving something back by running the 2010 LONDON MARATHON and all my sponsorship will be going to this excellent charity.
Please give generously even if its just a pound
