Hello...
I'm climbing Mt Blanc - at 15,700 ft, the highest mountain in Western Europe!
Why?
Well... Last year I witnessed hundreds of children, from the age of just 5 years old, working on huge household rubbish dumps in The Philippines - I think you will agree that this is, simply, wrong.
The children pick through household waste and scavenge for anything that can be recycled.
My hardest memory was that of watching a little boy, no older than my own son, finding a discarded Burger... in that stench of refuse... and eating it - see the video adjacent
These children will remain in 'absolute poverty' without outside help.
My hope is that you will join me in supporting the wonderful people who work to help bring these children (and their families) towards a healthier, happier and Spirit filled life - and that's Off the rubbish dumps!
A couple of requests:
* Please make a generous donation and
* Please consider giving a little bit more, maybe to the point at where it hurts your own life(style)... so that these children can, literally, have a life.
Just so you know... I'm paying all my own costs for the climb.
Every penny raised will be equally shared between our partners in The Philippines; please visit their websites:
