We are very much looking forward to celebrating our wedding and hope that you will be able to join us. Although it is your presence we would like most, we are conscious that many people like to give gifts and so in place of a wedding list we have decided to support a charity.

Springboard for Children provides a literacy lifeline for children with learning difficulties in inner city primary schools, primarily in Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham and Islington. Sadly, around 35,000 children a year will leave primary school aged 11 unable to read or write. Springboard provides tutors to children identified as requiring one to one assistance, helping them build on their literacy skills and giving them confidence to continue their education. We chose Springboard because we wanted to support a charity that gives children a better start in life.

Our target of £5000 will enable at least 6 children in reaching their literacy potential, Of course we are hopeful that we will achieve our target, but any donation will be greatly appreciated by Springboard and the children it supports.
