My story

                        WE DID IT!!!

Thursday was a marathon day, as we expected. Starting at 3.16 am on the Balgove we quickly got ahead of time, and maintained our pace through the morning. Around the 6th and 7th courses we began to slow down though but finally completed our 10 course challenge at 11.04pm! (56 minutes ahead of schedule!)

Thank you all for your wonderful support, not only online but by text e-mail and even down at 171st green on Thursday night!!

Its not too late to sponser us, and if you were waiting to see if could be done before you were going to delve into your pockets...now you've no excuse! The cause hasn't changed and remains as valuable and deserving as ever, so please give generously.

Thanks again!!!    gD.

On the 28th June myself, Graeme (Dawson), Ally (Love) and Scott (Finlayson) will attempt to play all the 10 St. Andrews courses in one day! A World record attempt for the greatest number of different golf holes played in one day.

It's a gruelling test of stamina and golf, as we attempt to cover around 55 miles over 10 courses....in around 20 hours of non-stop speed golf!!

We are not attempting this just as a bit of fun, or as a challenge, but in an attempt to raise money for worthy causes. I have chosen 'Breakthrough Breast Cancer', the official charity of the Ladies Golf Union, and want to raise as much as possible. Please give generously...it's a very worthy cause, and a very difficult task!
