My story

Dear Friends

With a heavy heart I wish to inform everyone, the trek to Kilimanjaro is no more.

I have been let down by the 2nd trekking company who pulled the plug on my trek due to few people going.

When I booked onto this trek I took the dates recommended to myself by the company as they assured me that it was good to go.

Then 2 weeks ago they contacted me to say it was off as they only had 3 people on it, so wasnt economically viable.

Personally Im gutted for myself about the trek and also for the Border collie trust. Its not all bad Ive still managed to raise £350 for the trust.

For myself Im taking my week up in Scotland to climb as many mountains as possible hopefully easing the pain somewhat.

I can only apologise to the people who have made donations through this page and if they want a refund can contact me at.

Again extremely sorry and many thanks.

Yours Gary Thomas
