George Angelides Trust is a Registered Charity founded during 2007 to raise awareness and offer direct assistance to adults and children who may experience the devastating physical and mental effects of Guillian Barre, a rare syndrome causing varying degrees of ascending paralysis.

Increasingly affecting some 1,500 people in UK every year to date there is no known cure.

Difficult to diagnose and often found in association with other illnesses the Trust also aims to work with health professionals to ensure fully funded treatment is offered to patients at an early stage that may help prevent complete disability.
