My story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I do hope that you will dig deep into your pockets and sponsor the children supported by International Childcare Trust.
Once more I am using some of the legacy that my mum gave to me in paying for this trip and challenging myself physically, mentally and spiritually on behalf of the children ICT cares for around the world. 
It will most probably be another mind blowing experience and I hope that I raise plenty of sponsorship to enable some of the street children to even begin to experience something other than their appalling life conditions.

Gaynor This is the story of just one girl from Vilpatti Village Project; the project we will be visiting after cycling 400km in the heat of South India. Eswari and her brother are both attending Vilpatti Elementary School. Her parents are going to work daily in the vegetable fields earning just Rs.90 per day but the work is too seasonal. Her parents are illiterate but they want their daughter to be educated. Unfortunately the pressures of survival often make it necessary for children to be taken out of school to support families. In this situation Vilpatti Village Project admitted her in the sponsorship programme to complete her studies up to 12th Class. She enrolled in the crèche in 1995 and in 2006 she finished 12th class and scored 836 marks out of 1000. Eswari's long term goal is to work in an office and help the poor people. It costs just over £20,000 to run the Vilpatti Village Project providing a crèche, school sponsorship and After School club. You can help more vulnerable children like Eswari by sponsoring me today. Without your support ICT would not be able to change the lives of vulnerable children in Africa and Asia.
