Four Grey Coat staff have decided to run (possibly walk parts of!) the Flora London Marathon 2009. Miss Carol Kaur Miss Martina Lecky, Miss Kirsty Bryant and Miss Izzy Foley,(from left to right in picture below) have committed to raising £1400 each for the National charity Sense that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. Unfortunately Miss Heiskanen has has to stop her training due to medical advice.
The Parents' Guild has volunteered to collect sponsorship money on behalf of the runners and charity after half term through this justgiving page. The staff would also encourage parents and students to come and support them on race day - they may be wearing the charity's signature orange afro wigs!
