About the charity : Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust
Established in 1964, the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust exists to give financial help for the repair, restoration and maintenance of places of worship of all Christian denominations in Oxfordshire and of raising funds for these purposes. Churches and chapels built before 1950 which are open for public worship may apply for grants.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. The Historic Churches Ride or Stride takes place on Saturday, 9th September 2006. I plan to cycle to about 20 churches in and around Abingdon to raise money for the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust and Steventon Parish Church Repair Fund. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust (OHCT) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

All your sponsorship will be paid to the OHCT and half of it will then be sent on to St Michael and All Angels, Steventon. The OHCT will use its share to give grants to Oxfordshire churches and chapels faced with heavy repair bills. Steventon Church will use its share for maintenance of the church fabric.
