Charity Football Match:  Garricks XI vs Hardly Athletic. 13th September 2009. Trafford FC:  Shawe View.

A truly Fantastic day which raised a staggering £5100.00 for SANDS.

Both teams contested an evenly fought game and put on a great show for the spectators. Unfortunately, only one team could win. The result went down to penalties in which Hardley Athletic came through victorious!! Many thanks to the Ex United Players, David May, Lee Martin and Clayton Blackmore for turning up and supporting the event.

The after match party lived up to all expectations down at the Garricks Head. Jonny Spangles was in fine form and the entertainment went on long into the evening. Thank you to Big Norman and his wife Denise who made the day very special.

A big Thank you to all our friends and family who helped out on the day, without whom this event would not have been possible. A tremendous effort.

Thank you to all our sponsors for your kind donations. The Raffle and Auction raised a huge amount.

Finally, a big thank you to everyone who turned up to support the event. I hope you had a great time. We certainly did!

We are sure the money raised will help comfort and help other families who have been affected by the loss of a baby and help promote research which could help save babies lives.

We are both very lucky and proud to be a part of such a great community. We will never forget Sunday, it was a very special day.

GREAT MANCHESTER 10K RUN. Sunday 17th May 2009.

This year we had a huge amount of runners taking part to help raise funds for SANDS. A truly fantastic day with all runners recording great times!!

LONDON MARATHON 26th APRIL 2009

It was tough going but I did it!! Despite stomach cramps and a visit to the St Johns Ambulance tent I managed to complete the Marathon in 4:06. 14 miles in I honestly thought I wouldn't make it.

A huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored me. You're support helped me cross that finish line.

In remembrance of our boy's 2nd Birthday. For you Ged, forever in our Hearts.
