Whether facing cancer, stroke, heart disease or have a sick child or baby, we want to provide the very best care. A variety of ground breaking equipment and treatments are now in place because of donations kindly made by the public, much more than our NHS budget can provide. Thank you

Story

Hi everyone,

The Midwifery Led Unit at Darent Valley Hospital is greatly important to me as i was lucky enough to experience a home from home, low technology, drug free childbirth. So please, support the MLU and its amazing staff who do a tremendous job around the clock to make mums to be feel relaxed (including water births) throughout what is said to be the hardest thing in life to go through. They are not saving lives or curing cancer but they are providing such a vital service, to give mums to be a positive outlook on childbirth, and in this day and age that is hard to come by.

Please, please, please give all you can as their funds are small but demands are huge, and possibly one day you will be fortunate enough to have as wonderful experience as me, and realise how lucky we all are to have something so brilliant on our doorsteps.

Many thanks for viewing my page, dig deep and leave the running to me.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Darent Valley Hospital Charity Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
