Well I can now say that I've succefully completed my first marathon! It was a great atmosphere with supportive crowds, steel bands, bag pipes and vicars throwing holy water (I must have looked like I needed saving!).
Sun beaming down, the shower spray tents along the course were much welcomed! The last few miles were a bit of a struggle but the spectators, friends and family kept me on my toes. Official finishing time 4h 53.14.
Just now enjoying a little rest before I think of the next challenge!
