Hi all, before we begin thanks ever so muchley for visiting my page!

I originally set out to run the British 10k for the most excellent Donald Woods Foundation this July who work in the Eastern Cape. Ahaha I hear you all say, but you ran a 1/2 marathon a couple of years ago, so surely a 10k is a mere stroll in the park in comparison?? Well, yes, I thought so too.

And then it dawned on me what a wonderful idea it would be to create an alternative challenge for myself, particularly having just read up on our work in the Eastern Cape in South Africa; children in some cases walk over 20 kilometeres every day just to get a basic education, with hundreds every day queuing round the block to have access to one of our HIV clinics (which they have also walked many miles to attend). Between you and me, I find that horrendous, particularly in this day and age......but anyway......

So my latest madcap idea is to run at least 10k every day, for 7 days with the final day finishing on the British 10k in London. This is to raise funds for our amazing work in an amazing country - but still really really needs our help.

Wherever possible, I've entered a race and will run 10k on the days I couldn't find one remotely near me (sadly can't afford to travel to Cockermouth or Rutland mid-week just to run!) - Darryl will stand witness! And to make up for it I've stuck an extra long race in on Saturday......

So please please give me whatever you can (and I know it's not great out there right now and it really is appreciated), I will be eternally grateful etc but far more importantly so will all the communities and our teams in the Eastern Cape

Sundy 5 July - Cranleigh (10k)
Monday 6 July - Self Trandescence 3, London (3 miles I know, but I'll do another lap to make up for it - there just are no other races!)
Tuesday 7 July - run 10k
Wednesday 8 July - Reigate (10k)
Thursday 9 July - run 10k
Friday 10 July - run 10k
Saturday 11 July - Maiden Castle (10k)
Sunday 12 July - British 10k, London
